Course Overview

Sculpture painting is an art which is between clay mural and impasto painting. It’s a Russian form of art and done by using a form of clay which is called decorative plaster using palette knife

What you will learn in this workshop:
How to make the basic strokes
How to make the petals of the flower and leaves using decorative plaster
How to make 3 stages of the flower, open, closed and bud
Techniques of blending colours
How to make different background effect of the panel
How to protect you work

Each trainee will get 2 palette knives and a board.
You will also take your finished panel with you.

All the materials for the workshop are included.
Coffee break is included too

The Workshop is offered for all ages and interests and anyone with a vague interest in sculpting with both experimental and traditional techniques..
Beginners and improvers looking to gain an understanding of mould-making and casting.
Students looking to develop their fine art portfolio in order to apply for study at foundation or degree level.
Those wanting to experience a dynamic studio culture and take part in group discussion of artworks.
This course is also suitable for anyone looking to combine 2D elements with 3D sculpture, installation, or performance.

Prerequisites

No special skills are required, only creativity.
